πŸ”† Assuming the next funding round isn’t coming anymore…..

Last week, Jason Lemkin posted a blog on SaaStr in which he shared his views on the investor climate.

His conclusion:

Series B and later are worst than it looks in the data: 85% of investing has ceased. Seed and Early Series A: Deals take longer but off about 40%.

The bottom line is this: I think it’s the one message most founders haven’t heard yet. They get that things are tougher and that venture has changed. What they don’t get is this. Today, you have to assume the next round isn’t coming.

So the big question is: What can you do to succeed without being dependent on that next funding round?
