“Back to the Future – Start planning from your vision, instead of from your present.” That was the title of a keynote I delivered to +200 CIOs at the CIO Asia conference themed “Digital Disruption” in Singapore.
Digital Transformation drives the agenda of (m)any organization(s). It’s a critical undertaking to stay relevant in a world that’s where nothing appears to remain the same as digital innovation is reshaping the markets we operate in, the competition we face, and the business models we’ve become so familiar with.
To harness this wave of disruption instead of being swept under, many organizations have started programs to drive business transformation through the adoption of digital technologies and processes.
In my keynote, I share my views based on the research I did and the experience I obtained while working with customers around the world. My advice: Start planning from your vision, instead of from your present. Start rethinking customer value by starting with the end in mind. How will you find, engage, and maintain customers? How can you move at their speed and provide them with the frictionless experience they now expect? From there rethink the way you operate and deliver services concerning speed, scale, and impact. These factors determine the foundation of your digital transformation journey and the initiatives you will need to prioritize all the way from the back-office to the front-office.
Enjoy the keynote, and let me know your thoughts.
