Get Answers • Gain Confidence • Take Action

The Mastermind and your mentoring helped me get to this stage that enables hyper-scale.

Some results: The length of the cycle has been shortened by 3-4x. Conversion rates jumped to 60% (from 30%).

– Rami Darwish, CEO Arrow Labs

Do these challenges sound familiar?

  • How to meet the raised growth expectations?
Securing your next funding round is one thing, but then the pressure is really on…
  • How to structure to scale faster?
Every stage brings new challenges – The real challenge is in creating leverage without breaking things…
  • How will you ensure you never run out of money?
It’s a constant fight: Runway. Where to place your bets, and where not?
  • How do you secure ‘enough’ traction….?

Being a CEO can feel very lonely

  • It’s you that everyone trusts that there’s enough runway…
  • It’s your final call to bet on this R&D investment or that sales acceleration…
  • It’s your personal leadership that everyone relies upon when you introduce change…
  • It’s your responsibility to ensure the company meets its raised growth expectations…

Day-to-day challenges. Day-to-day tough calls. Day-to-day worries.
No matter how strong your leadership team is – in the end, no one owns the problem as you do.

Get help from people like yourself: B2B SaaS CEOs

Imagine being able to flesh out burning challenges with people who won’t judge you. Imagine seeing opportunities in a totally new way. Imagine what it feels like being able to avoid going down the wrong path. Imagine what is like to be surrounded by people that will tell you what you need to hear, not what you want to hear. Imagine being able to tap into the 1000s of our hours of hands-on knowledge from like-minded people – B2B SaaS CEOs who’re on a mission as well. Imagine getting access to a group of experts like yourself without a huge investment of time or money.

It’s exactly what my Mastermind program will give you.

How it works

The B2B SaaS CEO Mastermind is a year-round, interactive, online workstream for business software change-makers: An outlet to air out, recharge, and flesh-out burning questions. It’s for founders and CEOs who are determined to deliver their vision. People like you, passionate about shaping a software business their customers just keep talking about

Like yourself, they are crazy busy and struggle to find enough time to reflect and work on their top priorities. Like you, they need to find the best answers to questions like: “What do we need to do differently to grow even faster? Or…, “What change do I need to push to meet the raised growth expectations from our investors for next year?”

The design of the Mastermind solves this stretch. It supports you to tick off one top priority after the other – while supporting you with generous feedback from like-minded peers and bringing in active reflection to explore new paths and remove blindspots.

  • Monthly themes – blended around the biggest priorities on your agenda
  • Weekly mastermind sessions, we address specific challenges together around a programmatic framework (10 Traits of Remarkable Software Companies) to remove the barriers that hold you back
  • 24/7 access to exclusive private groups to deeply reflect on your challenges and get generous feedback from your like-minded peers in a safe and confidential environment.

Who’s eligible to join?

The Mastermind is for you if you are a B2B SaaS CEO and:

  • Your company has a market-tested product, paying customers, and is ready for scaling up.*
  • You are committed to continuous self-learning and willing to provide generous feedback to others
  • You are eager to join a group of change-makers that define their success by the impact they help their customers create.

(* – To get maximum value from the B2B SaaS Mastermind program your revenue ideally sits within the $1M and $10M ARR bracket.)

What’s my investment, and what do I get?

There are three options available to optimally suit your needs and budget.

# 1: B2B SaaS CEO Mastermind
€1,250 per quarter

  • Access to the weekly CEO Masterminds
  • Full access to a private group
  • Access to previous masterminds
  • A copy of my book

# 2: Mastermind + Private Backchannel
€1.875 per quarter

Everything from option 1, plus:

  • You can ask me anything 24/7 via private “our eyes only” direct messages in Slack. I’ll get back to you within one business day (but usually faster during business hours).

# 3: Mastermind + Private Backchannel + 1-on-1 mentoring call
€2,500 per quarter

Everything from option 2, plus:

  • One monthly live private coaching call (60 minutes) with me (via Zoom).

My guarantees to you for each option above:

  • Quality over quantity. Your Mastermind cohort will be no bigger than 6-8 like-minded peers
  • Your cohort will be without any direct competitors
  • You’ll sign up for a full year but can cancel your membership till up to 3 months into the program – no questions asked

Ps – do you prefer an asynchronous approach over live calls, then the Sales-Led SaaS Club might be your best option.

Here’s what your peers are saying

Kind words from B2B SaaS CEOs who’ve been benefiting from the Mastermind group (or still are):

I know peer SaaS CEOs who tell me they’re not joining CEO Masterminds because it costs them too much time.

It’s the opposite: It saves me so much time having that group of peers. Their feedback on how I can look at the challenge at hand. All the things I haven’t thought about myself. The leverage of knowledge within the group. They challenge me out of my comfort zone. It’s a temperature gauge that gives me a lot of security.

– Quintus Willemse, CEO of Sharecouncil

I’m thankful to have been pushed as we are working through some shifts for 2024. I really value the guys and your input. Thank you for the opportunity!

– Tina Zwolinski, CEO SkillsGapp

A big lesson I learned has been storytelling. How we used to describe our product before and after is radically different. It’s become an outcome-based approach rather than a feature-based approach.

It made a big difference: Our qualification is a lot faster: 1 meeting instead of 3. And customers connect: “You get me. You know my issue.” That contributed a lot to speeding up our sales cycles 3-4x and increasing our win rates from 30% to 60%.

– Rami Darwish, CEO Arrow Labs

Now I have a group of peers who are all doing B2B SaaS. People who have gone down roads that didn’t work out well, have tried other things, and found out what worked. They have consequential knowledge. That’s invaluable. Where else are you gonna get that?

– Frank Wander, Founder and CEO PeopleProductive.

I’m also glad that we met, and thanks for letting me participate in your masterclass. You’re one of the few people I met who encourage founders to go against mainstream opinion, e.g., saying no to customers who are a bad fit, increasing prices, etc.. The mindset shift is what makes your mentoring so valuable, and I appreciate you for that.

– Jens Dressler, CEO GraphAPI

The tribe of people I’ve worked with over the last year have been amazing. Truly helped me to see opportunities in a new way, hold me accountable in a supportive manner, and focus on my core offering and go-to-market strategies.

– Scott Sandland, CEO Cyrano AI

Ton Dobbe is a force you can count on to awaken your leadership potential. His collaborative DNA helps you inspire you to do more,  reach higher, and constantly challenges you to think harder and harder. Guiding you to where you are and where you need to be. I have grown more in this SaaS CEO Mastermind group than in so many other expensive investments.

– Dr. Cindy Gordon, CEO SalesChoice

These calls are great for refocusing. That’s great because the one thing we can’t buy more of in this world is time. That’s the one thing we lose if we go down the wrong path: You could spend months doing the wrong thing.

– Hew Leith, CEO Atomley

I have direct access to very practical, hands-on knowledge. That’s invaluable. It’s exactly what you need in a world that’s changing so fast. You need peers – and it often feels they’re much more than peers.

– Marieke de Ruyter de Wildt, CEO The New Fork

Regularly engaging with a group of diverse but uniformly smart peers has been invaluable. I have gotten help in making very actionable decisions. You can’t get that from subordinates, only peers.

– Jon Ruby, CEO Jonar

After a month, I already felt the impact of the Community. Receiving feedback from you and this peer group has proven valuable. It’s one of the hours in the week I look most forward to.

– Koen Michiels, CEO Datasapiens

Still have questions?

Got questions? Great! I’ve got answers:

Q: When are the Mastermind sessions held?

You’ll be onboarded in the session held on every Thursday at 5 PM CET / 11AM EST / 8AM PST.

Q: How much time should I allocate for this?

The mastermind is scheduled every week for 60 minutes. No preparation needed.

Q: What if I’m in a different time zone?

I want to accommodate folks in all timezones, but I am not prepared to guarantee regular meetings outside of my normal working hours.

If there is a lot of demand for alternate times, I’m open to discussion with the community to see if we can work something out.

Q: What if my revenue is beneath the suggested lower limit – would this program make sense for me?

You bet. The $1M – $10M range is more a proxy for. It depends a lot on the growth you’re experiencing. Having a growing number of paying customers for a standard product is most important.

Q: How many people will be on each group session?

Maximum 10. If sessions get overcrowded I will add slots to accommodate demand. My mantra is quality over quantity. The ideal sessions are between 6-8 B2B SaaS CEOs because then everyone can optimally participate.

Q: Are all Mastermind sessions the same format?

No – and that’s on purpose. Each month we’ll have a mix of: Hot Seats, a Case Study, a Barometer session (to see where you stand on one of the 10 traits of a Remarkable SaaS business), and a special prompt

Q: What if I can’t join a mastermind?

No problem. Each session is recorded and both the video and the transcript will be shared on the private group on our community platform. Once you join, you’ll therefore have access to all the sessions from the past 3 years.

Q: Can my co-founders join as well?

No, this is for B2B SaaS CEOs only. No one owns the ‘problem’ the way the CEO does – that’s why it is so valuable to be amongst peers. I am considering a similar Mastermind program for CMOs and possibly CPOs – so just let me know if that would be of value at ton.dobbe@valueinspiration.com

Q: How is Mastermind program different from your private coaching program?

The Mastermind program is focused on attacking challenges as a group. My role is the one of the moderator, and I’ll obviously add value where I can. If you are in need of my input, I have 2 other flavors of the Mastermind program available: One with a monthly 1-1 mentoring/coaching session, and one (my Traction Resilience program) which gives you unlimited 24/7 access to me via Slack, email, and phone, and typically bi-weekly mentoring sessions (depending on the priority we’re working on)

Q: Has the Mastermind program a start and an end, or is it continuous?

It’s a program designed to drive continuous value. So there’s no official start or stop. This means you can join at any moment in the program. It is based on monthly themes though, that follow the structure of my book The Remarkable Effect. So every year, the theme repeats – and that’s a good thing because the market is dynamic, and it’s highly valuable to understand whether the progress you made is still of optimal value to your business  .

Q: Do you have a syllabus?

Other than my book, the answer is no. Besides the monthly themes (which are published) and the weekly changing formats, the sessions are unstructured because that allows us to focus 100% on what’s keeping you up at night and solve real problems together.

Q: What kinds of questions can I ask?

You can ask anything you like. This is where the value comes from. The better you formulate your questions and participate in the challenges that your peers bring – the more you’ll level up.

What you’ve done with me to get to this stage will now enable hyper-scale.

Honestly, framing is one of the most potent tools in your arsenal, Ton.

My mind was stuck on the solution. But in our 1-to-1 mentoring sessions, you kept on poking to reframe my mind out of the solution. And you did that by constantly saying: Who cares? Why is that important? And although it was annoying, it pissed me off several times – because from a founder’s perspective, I kept going: What do you mean, ‘Why is it important? It’s important; everybody needs to hear about that.

But that’s not the point …

So that was one thing. And then the other thing was the framing around segmentation.

So from a founder’s perspective – Why is it essential to find this?

Because if you find this, you’ll be able to build a scalable sales engine.

  • Because you’ll know when to qualify out. You cannot build a scalable sales engine if you don’t know when to qualify out.
  • Secondly, if you can’t figure out why your customers buy your product and what problems they are solving, then you can’t get to step two.
  • And if you can’t get to step two, you can’t get to step three, which is to nail down customers that will buy your products.

And you hit that with me from all these angles.

We are now focused on quality growth, not fast growth – and the results are clear:

  • The qualification stage shortened from 3 to only 1 meeting
  • Our pipeline is laser-sharp right now
  • It’s filled with lots of high-quality deals
  • There are fewer competitors competing with us
  • Our conversion rates jumped to 60% (from 30%)
  • The length of the cycle has been shortened by 3-4x
  • We now only need half the pipeline compared to before
  • We’re creating repeatable patterns. That scales and is sustainable.
– Rami Darwish, Founder and CEO Arrow Labs

I still have questions!

Who wrote this page, anyway?

Hi! I’m Ton Dobbe. I was born in The Netherlands, one of the flattest countries in Europe – and the son of a tulip farmer. But tulips weren’t my destiny. The B2B software industry was. I started locally in the Netherlands in Sales, then marketing, and for the last 15 years of my corporate career, I headed up global product marketing & product strategy.

Ton Dobbe, Founder of Value Inspiration and author of The Remarkable Effect

In 2017 I decided it was time to start my own company. I didn’t want to work for a large company anymore. I wanted to share my expertise, experience, and energy to help as many as possible, inspiring startups and scale-ups out there to make a remarkable difference.

Why? I just couldn’t believe the research that 90% of all startups fail. That’s bad… But what’s worse? +75% of SaaS Scaleups seem to fail as well – companies that are supposed to have product-market-fit.

So it became my mission to help change this.

Over the past years, I’ve developed my own methodology – The Remarkable Effect. This inspired me to write a book with the same name. The book then sparked the idea behind a weekly mastermind program for mission-led B2B SaaS CEOs.

Beyond that, I have helped dozens of startups and scaleups around the world to stand out in heavily competitive markets. How? By helping them crystalize what makes them remarkable. Identify who’s prepared to pay a premium for that (and why) – so that they can create remarkable traction.

Care to join our tribe? You’ll be glad you did. 🙂

This is your last chance!
